| Maker: Alcock Pattern:Oriental Meat Dish or Platter c1840 Made by Samuel Alcock & Co of Cobridge and Hill Pottery, Burslem, Staffordshire, active from 1828 to 1853. Magnificent large meat platter printed in a bold flow blue in Alcock's popular Oriental pattern.
Backstamp: Oriental SA.
There are some lines of crazing in the glaze, otherwise it is in lovely condition, with only a few signs of use and really clean and bright.

| Maker: Alcock Pattern:Oriental Comport c1840 A magnificent comport or centrepiece, with generous decorated splay foot and two ornate side handles. Made by Samuel Alcock & Co of Burslem and decorated in their famous flow blue Oriental design, with gilt decoration to the rims and added deep cobalt and gilt decoration to the side handles. Beautiful deep pearly cobalt glaze, really luscious.
There is some crazing to the glaze, a little wear to the gilt and one handle has been off and restuck, otherwise it is in superb condition.
Typical blue printed (smudged)cartouche backstamp with Oriental and the initials SA&Co, plus impressed 5X.
This is a fine example of Oriental and impressive display piece.

Backstamp: Oriental SA&Co and in script 9127 D.
Some surface scratching resulting in some wear to the red area and on the back a little minor wear, overall excellent condition.

| Maker: Alcock Pattern:Oriental blue with colour Plates Set of Ten c1840 Made by Samuel Alcock & Co of Cobridge and Burslem. These dessert size plates are decorated in their famous flow blue Oriental design, but here with a turquoise or green ground and gilt highlighting.
Backstamp: Typical blue printed cartouche with Oriental and SA&Co, plus pattern number 1265 in script.
Overall good condition, some wear where the border goes down into the bowl of each plate and the odd mark elsewhere. The glaze on six of the plates is finely crazed, but this is mainly visible or confined to the backs. Dimensions: 23.5 cm / 9.25 ins
